The first Doolin Folk Festival took place in June 2013 and was a huge success. The festival takes place in the Barn of Hotel Doolin, one mile from the location of the famous Lisdoonvarna Festival of the late 1970’s & early 1980’s. The 2020/2021 Doolin Folk Festival was cancelled and sorely missed, but Hotel Doolin are delighted to announce the 2023 Doolin Folk Festival will go ahead on the 9th - 11th of June 2023. The Doolin Folk Festival features traditional and folk musicians who have had a connection with the area over the years as well as up-and-coming, cutting-edge folk and Trad acts.
